While fans are surely anticipating Scarface and Beanie Sigel’s upcoming Mac and Brad LP, excitement may soon have to be tempered. The Philadelphia half of the duo will be heading to court this Thursday for sentencing over charges of tax evasion.

According to a recent report from Philly.com, the Broad Street Bully is scheduled to make an appearance in court this Thursday (April 12) for sentencing in his tax evasion case. In 2010, Beans was charged with failing to file tax reports from the years 2003 to 2005, owing a reported $348,000 in taxable income out of a grand total of $1 million.

Last August, the former Roc-A-Fella rapper pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges during the two-year period in question, although the defense contests the total sum due. He faces up to three years in prison if found guilty.
