When Nicki Minaj was asked if she wanted to donate canned foods to the Food Bank of New York City she laughed and told presenters of BET’s 106&Park she didn’t have canned foods although she did have $15,000 to help support those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Minaj continues: “I want to do a college scholarship programme for my Barbz [her fans] and this Christmas we’re choosing 3 charities to support.” She also teamed up with HOT97 to do a turkey drive at her old elementary school in Queens, New York.
