Sometimes its nice to go to calm events where the music isn’t blasting, thousands of people aren’t yelling, and the artists/performers show off their raw talent. Yesterday, Goapele (American Soul & R&B Singer-Songwriter) put on an amazing yet soulful performance. With powerful vocals, and the help of some pretty dope guitar solos, her, along with a wonderful opening act by U. City, uplifted the couple filled crowd which seemed to fall even more in love. Goapele performed songs like “Closer”, “Play”, and even a few new songs…including an exclusive song she did on the “Sparkle” soundtrack (which hits theaters this weekend).
